Application of Plant Extracts in Micropropagation and Cryopreservation of Bleeding Heart: An Ornamental-Medicinal Plant Species

Lamprocapnos spectabilis (L.) Fukuhara (bleeding heart) is valued both in the horticultural and pharmaceutical markets. Despite its great popularity, information on vitro tissue culture technology this species limited. There also little knowledge application of plant extracts systems plants other than orchids. The aim study to compare utility traditional growth regulators (PGRs) natural extracts—obtained from coconut shreds, as well oat, rice, sesame seeds—in micropropagation cryopreservation L. ‘Gold Heart’ ‘White Gold’. biochemical analysis composition included. In first experiment related via axillary buds activation, single-node explants were cultured for a 10-week-long propagation cycle modified Murashige Skoog medium fortified either with 1.11 µM benzyladenine (BA) 1.23 indole-3-butritic acid (IBA) or 10% (v/v) extracts.
